70A FilaFlex Black 1.75 mm

Filaflex 70A is a flexible TPE filament for 3D printing. It is the most elastic and flexible filament in the Filaflex filament range.

DESCRIPTION

The 70A range is an “Ultra-Soft” elastic TPE filament. Its properties make this material similar to silicone.

With a Shore hardness of 70A, it can achieve a stretch to break of up to 900%.

After stretching, it returns to its original shape.

Like the entire filaflex range, the material has excellent adhesion, which in fact allows it to be printed without heating the printer base. The material does not emit odours when printed.

It is more complex to print than other flexible filaments such as TPU.

 Uses of Filaflex 70A

Its applications and uses are very diverse, some examples are:

Orthopaedic insoles
Prosthetics, organ models for simulated operations
Parts for industry or automotive, such as bumpers, gaskets or tyres.
3D printing on fabrics
Shoes
etc…

Printing temperature: 215-235 °C
Printing speed: 20-40 mm/s
Shrink speed: 35-50 mm/s
Retraction distance: 2.5-6 mm
Travelling speed: 160 – 200 mm/s
Recommended layer height: 0.08 – 0.3. Optimum results range from 0.2 to 0.25 (for 0.4 nozzles).

PRINTER COMPATIBILITY

Filaflex is a slightly more complicated filament to print with than rigid filaments, but with proper setup you will be able to print on any printer.
