Is my 3D printer compatible?
The ASA X Filament from X To Print is designed for industrial applications due to its resistance.
- It is advisable to print ASA in a closed 3D printer, which can avoid air flows and warping or cracking.
- It is necessary to use a 3D printer with a hot bed and it is advisable to use specific adhesive for high temperature such as Dimafix.
- It is compatible with 3D printers with a diameter of 1.75 mm.
- A temperature of 240º or higher must be reached in the nozzle.
X Filament Care and Maintenance Tips
- Store your filament in a sealed bag or box after each print to avoid moisture.
- Be sure to insert the free end of the filament into the holes to prevent tangling the next time you use it.
- If you won’t be printing with it for a few days, retract the filament to protect the printer nozzle.
You can always ask us for specific printing parameters for your 3D printer.
