Flexible Filament 3Dprint.me TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is a thermoplastic elastomer. It is used for printing flexible parts. It is a slightly stiffer material than TPE, which makes it easier to print on bowden 3D printers.
It is a medium-strength material with high flexibility and durability.
TPU is a material commonly used in mobile phone covers, casings or anti-stress toys.
Details
- Filament: Flexible TPU
- Diameter: 1.75 mm
- Temperature: 190-220 ºC
- Amount of material: 800 grams
- Compatible with: 1.75 mm Bowden type 3D printers and direct extrusion 3D printers.
Recommended parameters
- Flow rate: 1.1
- Nozzle Temperature: 190-220ºC
- Base Temperature: 50
- Shrinkage: 0.2. It is possible to print with 0 shrinkage to avoid problems.
- Layer height: Recommended layer height > 0.2
- Speed: 40 mm/s
- Speed on small and external perimeters: 25 mm/s
Low speeds are recommended for the printing of flexible materials, and the difference between speeds should be small, to avoid changes of rhythm that could affect the correct extrusion of the material.
