Original Prusa Doubled-Sided Textured Pei Sheet

This is the original double-sided textured PEI steel sheet for the Original Prusa i3 MK3/S and Mk2.5/S.

The powder coated PEI textured steel sheet increases the resistance of the sheet to collisions with the nozzle, making it a scratch-proof base.

In addition, thanks to the integrated magnets of the heated base of the Original Prusa i3 MK3S 3D Printer, the sheet will be perfectly attached to the warm bed, also being easier to remove from the printer.

This textured sheet is covered by PEI (polyetherimide) powder cooked on the surface, giving it a slightly rough finish, while other PEI sheets are glued to the metal sheet as a “sticker”, giving them a smoother surface.

The textured magnetic steel base will give the pieces a rough finish on the first layer.

This steel base is flexible, which allows the printed parts to peel off very easily once the printing is finished. In addition, the pieces come off automatically when the sheet cools.

Be careful, this sheet cannot be cleaned with acetone, or it will be irreversibly damaged.

When purchasing the original Prusa i3 MK3S textured sheet, you must apply the isopropyl alcohol wipe that comes with the base, on both sides. It is very important to apply isopropyl alcohol when the sheet is cold.
