ESUN Flex (TPU) 1.75 mm description

ESUN Flex (TPU) ”Thermoplastic polyurethane” is a 95A flexible filament, soft in natural colour, opaque and waterproof.

With respect to its mechanical properties, it provides a high mechanical strength ”flexural tensile strength”, good resistance to ageing and wear.

On the other hand, it also has good chemical properties. ESUN Flex (TPU) is resistant to water and other types of generic solvents, including ultraviolet rays and sunlight.

The printing temperature range for ESUN Flex (TPU) is (210 – 230) ºC.

A great advantage of this material is that it does not need a hot bed for proper printing, but it is advisable to apply some bed adhesive.

The average printing speed for ESUN Flex (TPU) is (15-30) mm/s.

The filament contains 1 Kg of material in each reel.

More printing tips

To avoid 3D printing problems with ESUN Flex (TPU) it is advisable for the filament to enter the extruder thrust zone as tightly as possible.

On the other hand, if your extrusion system is by bowden, special care must be taken with the friction of the filament by the guide tube and the speed.
