Dual Drive

Hemera brings a dual drive arrangement made of hardened stainless steel. The e3D Hemera extruder offers much better grip compared to other drive systems.

This system allows the filaments to be pushed through with up to 10 kg of force.

In addition, the Hemera extruder allows the user to adjust the pressure exerted on the filament.

Easy and intuitive assembly of the e3D Hemera Direct Kit

The 4 T-slots at the rear allow square nuts to be fitted to the motor, providing convenient mounting to your printer. The front has 4 additional T-slots for partial cooling fans and bed levelling accessories.

Excellent when it comes to flexible filament

Hemera restricts your filament like no other HotEnd / Extruder combination. This makes flexible filaments such as TPU considerably easier to print and dramatically increases responsiveness when using standard materials such as PLA or PETG.

Hemera Dissipates heat in a unique way

e3D’s unique and original design ensures that the hot air flow is directed upwards and away from both the hotend and the hotbed. This helps reduce filament deformations inside the hotend, helps maintain a stable temperature, and prevents uneven stresses from forming in the print.

Compatibility

Hemera maintains compatibility with V6, Volcano and SuperVolcano heater blocks and nozzles.

Engine

While the Hemera custom motor is similar to a Nema 17 motor, it is not a standard Nema 17.

Therefore, e3D Hemera is not compatible with other Nema 17 motors and you will not be able to replace the motor with a compact but powerful and slim motor, or other third party motors.
