The NTC 100K thermistor is a temperature sensor widely used in FDM 3D printers to control the temperature of parts such as the fuser and the heating bed.

This component measures the temperature of parts exposed to temperature changes, such as the fuser and the heating bed, from variations in resistance.

Once mounted on the part where the temperature is to be measured, a correct reading check must be carried out, observing the temperature reflected by the 3D printer. Without heat input, this element must always show room temperature. Otherwise, it is a sign that the thermistor is incorrectly mounted, it is making contact or is damaged.
